This is the great challenge that UNESCO has set itself to help young Africans gain a better understanding of their history and the contributions of the peoples of Africa to the general progress of mankind, with the aim of building their self-esteem.
To this end, UNESCO has decided to highlight, in a fun and interactive way, the contents of the volumes of the General History of Africa on which it has worked for nearly 60 years to produce a global history of Africa, from the perspective of the Africans themselves, free of racist and colonial stereotypes.
UNESCO and its partner Netinfo have therefore decided to develop a pilot of the first video game based on the prestigious collection of volumes of the General History of Africa.
